[Artist Spotlight] Kinfolk Jack Presses Forward Despite Shut Down

Since the release of his debut album “Something 2 Ride 2”, Kinfolk Jack hasn’t lost momentum. Closing out 2019 with several performances under his belt, the Arkansas native is determined to make his presence known not only in the DFW, but all over Texas and abroad. He recently collaborated with Houston S.U.C Pioneer Dj Red, to release the Slowed & Chopped version of ”Something 2 Ride 2”. With the shut down of venues, which has halted performances, Kinfok Jack has found other ways to keep his name in circulation. His latest effort comes in the form of a collaboration with lyrical wordsmith Rakim Al Jabbaar. Produced by Mousequake, “E’rthang Gon’ Be Alright” has a vibe that’s undeniable and is what I call feel good music. Although the 2 emcees may not occupy the same vein as far as their solo efforts, collectively they personify U.G.K in some instances. The track definitely holds heavy replay value and is available on all digital platforms. Be sure to add it to your playlist and follow Kinfolk Jack for what’s to come in the future.
