UPDATE: 2:00 PM -Eric Holder, the man police think fatally shot rapper Nipsey Hussle on Sunday has been arrested, Los Angeles police announced on Twitter.
Detectives confirmed the suspect Holder, 29, was in custody in Bellflower, a city in southeast Los Angeles County.
Sources say Nipsey traveled to his Marathon Clothing Company, spur of the moment, to hook up an old friend (who just got out of prison) with clothes to later meet his family.
The rapper/ entrepreneur did not notify his team or his primary security guard he’d be going to the store and no one from his camp was aware he’d left home.
Holder apparently had what may have been a heated conversation with Hussle earlier in the day, but then returned to the rapper and 2 others with gunfire.
A vigil held for the slain rapper ended in violence on April 1. The peaceful and prayerful, gathering later turned into chaos after the LAPD said a man pointeda handgun and another person attempted to disarm him, sparking a destructive stampede. 19 people were hurt and/or stabbed.
